Rebranding agency shed the old shell

Most businesses outgrow their first logo. It was made in a hurry, the business has changed, or it simply looks dated next to competitors. As a rebranding agency, we audit what you have, keep what still earns recognition and rebuild the rest, then roll it out across every touchpoint without losing the customers who already know you.

// 01 · 240 mThe signs

Six signs it’s time

It looks dated

Gradients, clip art or fonts that date the business to the year it opened.

It breaks on screens

Fine details blur in a profile picture or favicon, and there is no vector file to fix it.

There are five versions

Different colours on the van, the website and the invoices, because nobody wrote the rules down.

The business has changed

New services, new partners or a merger, and the brand still describes the old business.

It undersells you

Your work is premium but the brand looks cheap, so you attract price shoppers.

It blends in

Same colours and the same kind of icon as every competitor in your area.

Switching over without losing anyone

A rebrand only works when it reaches every touchpoint. Half-finished rollouts, where the van says one thing and the website another, are worse than no rebrand at all.

Every rebrand ends with a rollout checklist in the order things should change. If we build or host your website, we update it on launch day. If the name or domain changes, we map 301 redirects so the search rankings you have earned carry across, and update your Google Business Profile the same day.

Rebranding questions

Will a rebrand hurt my Google rankings?

A new logo and colours do not affect rankings. Rankings are put at risk when the domain or page addresses change without redirects. If yours change, we map 301 redirects and update your Google Business Profile so the rankings carry across.

Should we change our business name?

Usually not. A name with years of reviews and word of mouth behind it is an asset. We only recommend a new name when the current one limits the business, causes confusion or cannot be protected.

Can you keep parts of our old logo?

Yes. A refresh often keeps the colour, a shape or the name style that customers recognise and modernises the rest, so the change feels like an upgrade rather than a stranger.

How much does rebranding cost?

A brand refresh is $3,490 + GST and a full rebrand with strategy is $6,990 + GST. Signage, printing and vehicle wraps are quoted by your suppliers using our files.

How long does a rebrand take?

About three to four weeks for a refresh and five to six weeks for a full rebrand, plus the time your printers and sign writers need for the physical rollout.

What is the difference between a brand refresh and a rebrand?

A brand refresh keeps your name and the elements customers recognise, and updates the logo, colours, type and collateral around them. A rebrand starts again from strategy, and can include a new name, positioning and identity.

Do you rebrand Melbourne businesses?

Yes. We are a Melbourne rebranding agency based on the Mornington Peninsula, and work with businesses across Melbourne and Australia-wide.
